Liposomal sun protection is selectively localized at the outermost layer of the skin (the stratum corneum) with the help of carrier systems, known as liposomes.

How it works:
- Encapsulation: The UV filters are encapsulated in carrier systems (liposomes).
- Absorption: The liposomes selectively accumulate in the outermost layer of the skin, thereby improving the adhesion and stability of the UV filters.
